It’s been a full winter for us, playing shows and making some money to make a new record. Now that’s we’re into spring and almost into the summer months, we’re fully focused on wrapping up the work on our 2nd full length album.

Up until now, we’ve tried a variety of different methods of writing and recording, but on this effort, we hit our stride. In the past it’s taken a long time to write, arrange, record, distribute….and on and on and on…actually the official length of time it used to take was “forever”. That’s official.

We tracked what time and money would allow in the studio. The rest was done with mobile equipment, some owned, some borrowed, in apartments, bathrooms and various spaces all over the city. The result was a collection of what I consider to be the best songs we’ve ever produced. Honestly.

We co-produced this new record with producer and engineer, Eric Corson. He’s a great studio dude and musician, and all around fantastic guy! It was our big loss when Eric had to take another job and we had to part ways before the mixing phase of this project.

That’s where this post stops. The first four tracks are mixed and in the box…but we’ll wait to tell you who stepped in to save the day. I’ll just leave it at me telling you that the songs sound great. More to come when the time does…
